Feeling Overwhelmed by Your Child’s Emotions?

Get guidance and support that actually works

My Approach

As a parent, it’s natural to feel worried, frustrated, or even helpless when your child struggles with anger, sadness, or withdrawal. You want to help but you don’t always know how. That’s where I come in.

I provide expert, trauma-informed play therapy that helps children express and process emotions safely, so they start to feel happier, more confident, and more resilient. At the same time, I give parents practical guidance, reassurance, and tools to understand and support their child at home.

Parents choose to work with me because they want to help they can see and feel, not just sessions that come and go. They want:

  • Clarity about what’s really happening with their child

  • Measurable progress over time

  • Confidence that they are supporting their child in the right way

  • Peace of mind knowing their child is safe, heard, and understood

Working with me isn’t just therapy for your child it’s support for you as a parent, so your whole family can feel calmer, connected, and empowered.

Every child and family is different, so I tailor my approach to what works for you, creating a warm, supportive space where children feel heard and parents feel empowered.

About Me

I I have worked with children for over eighteen years, initially in education before transitioning to play therapy and qualifying as a registered play therapist in 2019. I am educated to a post-graduate level and registered with Play Therapy UK . I access regular supervision and ongoing training to support clinical practice. My experience includes working with schools, residential children’s homes, foster care, local authorities and charities. I have previously worked for the NHS and a national children’s residential care company. I opened my private practice in 2022, dedicated my time and energy to supporting families through private referrals.

In-person and remote options

My private practice is conveniently located in Bourne, Lincolnshire. Play therapy is an in person treatment, however parent consultations can be held remotely if preferred.
